The health of our community depends on the strength of the bonds in our community. DrugFreeLex is willing to support community efforts to reduce the impact of substance use in the Lexington area through our Community Mini-Grant Program. DFL will award between $250 and $2000 for projects in 4 target categories – Harm Reduction, Prevention/Education, Enforcement, and Treatment.
Applications will be accepted between January 15 and March 1, 2018. To help community partners who may not have grant writing experience, DFL will also be offering walk-in Grant Writing Workshops to assist with applications:
February 1, 2018:
Lexington-Fayette Health Department Rice C. Leach Community Room: 5-7:30pm
February 14, 2018:
Lexington Public Library Northside Branch (Russell Cave Rd): 1-3:30pm
To apply, download and complete the application below. If you have questions or concerns about the application, email Emily Edmiston, DFL Coordinator.
Awards will be announced by March 15, 2018. We look forward to reading your proposals!
